**Job Description**: **Financial Risk Specialist, Broker Accreditation Team** Wroclaw, Poland As a respected and fast growing Shared Service Centre (SSC) we are looking for an Financial Risk Specialist to be part of our Broker Accreditation Team, whose role is approving brokers and monitoring Broker risk governance. You will perform a number of essential tasks that help AXA XL’s underwriters and its accredited brokers, while protecting the business and the ultimate consumer of our products and services. For the right person this is a fantastic opportunity to progress and grow into the Insurance and Reinsurance industry within a very fast growing company. **What you’ll be DOING** What will your essential responsibilities include? - Analyzing Broker financial statements - Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet data - Supporting the team in the role of Broker accreditation for the Group using the defined processes, seeking assistance from Compliance for terms of business agreement (TOBA) /regulatory issues and Legal for matters relating to TOBA wordings - Supporting the team in the day to day maintenance of Broker records making sure the highest data quality is achieved - Supporting the team in the Production of Broker Risk Reviews for Management Committees not limited to information from websites, annual reports, Companies House, Regulators, credit agencies, internal databases and Xchanging - Preparing Broker Accreditation Reports for Country Managers reviewing regional decisions and highlighting any exceptions and any decisions to be made - Collating workflow statistics to aid Broker monitoring and Broker relationship management - Responding to Underwriter Broker requests and ad hoc queries either direct or through the Broker Accreditation Team mail box - Undertaking compliance reviews of Broker accreditations making sure regulatory requirements have been fulfilled i.e. TOBA issuance, regulatory approval etc. - Analyzing credit control reports by Broker You will report to Deputy Manager of the Broker Accreditation Team. **What you will BRING** We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: - Experience in company financial reviews - University degree (preferably in insurance, economics, finance or any other relevant area) - Experience on the similar role (ideally minimum three years) - First class report writing skills (ability to develop and present ideas and reasoned arguments clearly and concisely to various audiences) - Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic VBA (preferable) and other commonly used software - Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is a must - Inquisitive mind with analytical and critical thinking skills - Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail - Excellent people skills; communicative and open to new situations **Who WE are** AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
