The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately and timely processing payroll for employees in Poland. This role reports to the Poland SSC Manager and requires a high level of attention to detail, knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance, and strong analytical skills. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing, resolve payroll-related issues, and maintain payroll records. **Key Responsibilities**: - Process monthly payroll for employees in compliance with local labour laws and regulations. - Collect, prepare, calculate, and validate payroll data from both internal and external stakeholders, including name starter, leavers, attendance, leaves, benefit allowance, salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, insurance, and Pension etc. - Assist Manager in managing the attendance of all employees in Poland, including SHEIN employees and Agency employees. - Have basic knowledge of Polish Labour law, assist manager managing local employee files and benefits enrollment. - Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory payments. - Liaise with external vendors to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies or errors. - Maintain employee payroll-related records. - Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax-related matters. - Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll & attendance practices, policies, and procedures. - Participate in payroll audits and support internal and external audits related to payroll. - If necessary, provide support for onboarding and offboarding management. **Qualifications and Skills**: - Fluent Polish, both verbal and written language skills - Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level is essential. - Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Payroll Specialist, preferably within a warehouse function - In-depth knowledge of Polish payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social security requirements. - Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet strict payroll deadlines. - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity. - Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payroll-related issues effectively. - Effective communication skills to interact with employees, stakeholders, and authorities. - Ability to work in accordance with SHEIN’s values such as customer focus, striving for excellence, quick adaptation, learning and innovating, teamwork and collaboration.
