Altogether, we employ over 1,150 people, making us one of the region’s most significant employers. - As part of the Distribution Center team, the **Warehouse Supervisor** is responsible for organizing and coordinating warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supervising daily activities related to receiving, picking, replenishment, shipping, and cycle counting. The role supports efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse operations while leading and developing the warehouse team to ensure service levels, quality standards, and operational targets are consistently achieved. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Organize and coordinate the daily work of the warehouse team to ensure objectives related to quality, volume, accuracy, and timelines are achieved. - Manage and oversee all warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counting. - Monitor inventory accuracy of components and finished goods; maintain the inventory control system and ensure Daily Cycle Counts are performed, including corrective and preventative actions for discrepancies. - Ensure customer satisfaction, quality, environmental, and safety goals are understood, communicated, and consistently achieved. - Ensure all warehouse processes comply with internal procedures, ISO/TS requirements, standards, and documentation. - Coordinate and ensure effective use of SAP S/4HANA and supporting warehouse systems; utilize expert‑level system knowledge to support operations and data accuracy. - Prepare and analyze KPIs and operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor performance and support decision‑making. - Communicate and collaborate with EMEA Distribution Centers and internal stakeholders, including Logistics (Traffic), Quality, and DC analytics. - Oversee and manage logistics service providers, including inspections, audits, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement. - Supervise and manage warehouse equipment (e.g., scanners, forklifts, specialized trucks), including planning inspections and optimizing rental and operating costs. - Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, work instructions, procedures, and internal standards across the warehouse. - Support standardization initiatives and ensure adherence to Lean and 5S principles in the assigned area. - Develop, update, and implement warehouse regulations, work instructions, and procedures. **Job Profile**: - Builds knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, systems, and internal procedures, with a solid understanding of end‑to‑end material flow. - Works within departmental objectives and priorities, receiving guidance on complex or non‑standard issues. - Uses experience and data to support operational decisions impacting service level, accuracy, and team performance. - Contributes directly to the quality and efficiency of warehouse operations and promotes effective communication within the team and with internal and external customers. **Keys to Success**: **Supervisory Responsibilities**: - Manages and develops the warehouse team, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, certification, and performance management. - Plans, organizes, directs, and monitors daily warehouse operations and resource allocation. - Sets priorities, monitors KPIs, and provides feedback to ensure deadlines, safety, quality, and performance targets are met. - Ensures availability, control, and proper use of equipment required to support operational needs. **Requirements and Preferred Skills**: - 2-4 years of relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related operational environment, including team leadership responsibilities. - Minimum secondary education; higher education is an advantage. - Practical knowledge of warehouse management principles and material flow. - Experience working with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and MS Office; ability to use integrated management systems. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. - External and internal customer orientation. - Excellent command of written and spoken English.
