11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of Emergency Management policy and procedures to implement and review emergency plans; 2) Providing guidance, instruction, support, and training to dispatch and emergency management personnel; 3) Coordinating resources for emergency programs and dispatch center operations; and 4) Overseeing Emergency Operations Center administration and management to evaluate the organization's ability to deal with emergency situations effectively. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
